Biography:
Noah Strausser Speer Wyle (pronounced Wy-Lee) was born on the 4th of June 1971 in Hollywood, California. He was one out of six children of an electrical engineer and an orthopedic head nurse.
Wyle has always wanted to be an actor, and while wtill in High School he appeared in High School plays and participated in a theater arts program at Northwestern University. After his gratuation he moved into a small apartment on Hollywood Boulevard and he received classes from acting teacher Larry Moss. After appearing in different movies like Crooked Hearts and
A Few Good Men in the early 90'ies he landed on the role as Dr. John Carter in the TV Series ER in 1994 (-2005).
On the 6th of May 2000 he married makeup artist Tracy Warbin, whom he met on the set of The Myth of Fingerprints in 1996. They have two children together, Owen (9th November 2002) and Auden (15th October 2005), and live on a ranch in Santa Ynez Valley just outside Los Angeles.
Noah is around 6'1" (185 cm), a vegan and recently told on The Ellen DeGeneres Show that he likes to buy stuff on E-bay. Wyle is also the Artistic Director of The Blank Theatre Company in Los Angeles. |
